​Biography

     On January 30, 1991, the curtains rose for Michael Sprouse in Newport News, Virginia. He attended various schools around the region before transferring to Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind in Staunton, where he got severely bitten by the theatre bug after being involved in the Drama Club and attending a performance of Romeo and Juliet at the nearby American Shakespeare Center. In his senior year, He portrayed Hamlet.
    In 2009, He graduated from Virginia School for the Deaf and entered Gallaudet University with aspiriations of being a English Major, and during the course of his first year, he changed his aspiriation and declared a major in Theatre Arts. During his four years at Gallaudet, he was active in the Theatre Arts program where he acted, managed and Directed in several productions.  One of his memorable and proudest accomplishment was directing Samuel Beckett's Krapp's Last Tape. He graduated from Gallaudet University in May of 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts.
